XXL ASA has appointed Mr. Robert Iversen as the Training Director for the XXL Group with responsibility of training and education of employees in the XXL Group. He will start in his new position as of today, 1 February 2017, and be a part of the management team in XXL ASA. Robert Iversen was the co-founder of XXL and he served as the first CEO of XXL from year 2000 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011 he was responsible for Training in the XXL Group. Prior to his roles in XXL he held several positions in the electronic retail chain Elkjøp including Managing Director Norway and COO Norway and Finland (Elkjøp, Lefdal and Gigantti).
Mr. Iversen is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Norway. He owns 1,336,341 shares in XXL ASA as of today (through Robert Iversen Holding AS) including ownership of closely related parties.
Mr. Iversen is currently a member of the Nomination Committee of XXL ASA and he has notified the Chairman of the Nomination Committee about his new position in the Company. The Nomination Committee will consider proposing appropriate amendments to its composition in connection with the Annual General Meeting in XXL ASA scheduled for 7 June 2017.
